We flew into Boston this past winter to drive up to The Near Canada Open in Sunday River, Maine. On the way back to Logan Airport, we had a few hours to spare and even though it was pouring down rain on what little snow was laying around and we had no shovel we decided to hit a rail spot. We were shocked that not only did we not get kicked out immediately, but everyone walking by seemed pretty into our shenanigans. The shot is in the video, in Sam Hulbert's part. And if you live in Boston and want to see Brain Dead Heart Attack and a bunch of other entertaining flicks from this year, you should go to the Boston Winter Film Festival.

The line-up of snowboard flicks reads like the CMA Top 20, just kidding, how about the Billboards Top 100? But way cooler. And the backdrop of Annecy, nestled in the foothills of the Alps just adds to the dream-come-true feel of the whole experience.
It's going to be a blast. Hope anyone and everyone is there. Can't wait to feast our eyes on the snowboard movie magic about to be unleashed. ![]() THANK YOU SEATTLE!!! The Seattle premiere was so much fun. I haven't stayed up past 4am in a long time. Thanks to all of our sponsors for hooking the raffle up so fatty too. Summit at Snoqualmie just outdid themselves. They gave the first 100 ticket holders through the door a day-pass, plus gave us 2 4-packs for the raffle and then Jesse made an UBER-prize that came with a Season's Pass, a TRS Lib board, jacket, gloves and goggles. It was nuts. I hope the lucky person who won that uses it fully. Thanks to the Guild 45 too. That place is one of the best places to hold a premiere in Seattle nowadays. Sorry no liquor there, but the after party was fun. Thanks Al's for the Brain Dead Heart Attack drink special. Thanks Spacecraft for all the help booking the Guild 45! And again, Thank you Seattle!! ![]() Tonight is THE big night for us. Like prom, or New Years Eve, we're that kind of butterfly filled for our hometown Seattle premiere party! Some of you have not seen Brain Dead Heart Attack yet. Some are waiting to see it on the big screen. Some have bought it and are still coming because premieres are just fun and everyone's going to be there. It occurred to me (pika) that a lot of our sponsors are in the near vicinity coming tonight too. They supplied us with a ton of amazing gear to hook kids up for the raffle too. One lucky lady who wants to pull the string out like Desiree will walk home with a Salomon Gypsy board WITH bindings. And for you dudes, I know for sure there's at least one board. It's a Lib Tech TRS. And it's bossy. Summit at Snoqualmie is amazing. First 100 people through the door with purchased tickets get a free day-pass. AND they're giving away a season's pass in the raffle! The news gets better! Jesse and I and Lucey will be there obviously since we live here. But Geno's coming down from Surrey. Had to sell some concert tickets to make it. Sam Hulbert is flying in, Chris Rasman is driving down, Jaeger and Mitch are treking it in. Pretty much makes my day right there. Folks at Spacecraft, Pow, Frequency, Sandbox, Lib, Bataleon, Summit at Snoqualmie, K2, Diecutstickers.com; all coming. Coming together. See you at the Guild 45 Theater tonight! Doors open at 9pm and it all starts rolling at 9:20pm If you get there late, you'll be tripping over people getting to your seat like latecomers to a Harry Potter movie. Advanced tickets are on sale until 4pm today at Snocon and Evo and on Brown Paper Tickets: thinkthank.bpt.me We saved some for the door too, but don't be late, they're going fast! Our good friends at Diecutstickers.com are always doing something interesting. Somehow they find time to do it between the insane schedule they keep up 24/7. This is like their version of Crail Couch. But it's called Sticky Situations. Get it? Because they make stickers...
![]() Ever wonder why some of these blog posts are better than others? To tell you the truth, the much better ones are written by Jesse. The kind of limp ones that are all kind of Hallmark-y are Pika's (mine). When I met Jesse when we were just crazy kids in our teens he was into reading Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn and wrote poems. All very romantic to a 18 year old me. The Jesse now is pretty much the same as the 19-year old version, but he has much more facial hair. His pants are slightly less baggy. Slightly. Cool story. ![]() Summit at Snoqualmie has offered to give away 50 ticket vouchers to the first 50 people with purchased tickets through the door at our premiere this Thursday! The big hometown, Seattle premiere is this Thursday, so get your advanced tickets today at Snocon, EVO or online at thinkthank.bpt.me * Purchased tickets, as in not on the guest list. ![]() The Seattle 10 year Anniversary Celebration and premiere of Brain Dead Heart Attack is next Thursday, September 19th at 9pm at the Landmark Guild 45 Theater! Tickets can now be bought in advance at Snocon, EVO or online at Brown Paper Tickets. We're putting together a little special something that includes a highlight reel of the past 10 years, and a little recognition moment for as many people we can get from past videos to come. The night will be magical. Like unicorns dancing in moondust m ![]() Came across these kind words this morning from Matt Vanatta who took it upon himself to check in with some "Think Thank Alumni" about their experiences working with Think Thank and Jesse Burtner over the years. Thanks Matt, Gus, Scott, Jess and Jason Robinson for taking the time to share your stories. http://xgames.espn.go.com/snowboarding/article/9638837/think-thank-alumni-discuss-brain-dead-heart-attack ![]() Tonight is the big night folks! Brain Dead Heart Attack is on the big screen in Anchorage tonight! zAK's Boardroom will be selling advanced tickets until 4pm today, then the remaining tickets will be for sale at the door of the Wilda Marsten Theater/Loussac Library at 7pm. Arnette, Sandbox, Spacecraft and more have sent gear for the free raffle and zAKs is giving a 10% in-store discount with your ticket stub all next week. |
