INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
Think Thank's 14th full length DVD is available for NOW!
Only a very limited number are being replicated, so get yours before they're gone.
This movie will not be online for free. It's not a "part" movie, so it can't be diced and sliced that way. It's made for your theatrical enjoyment on the bigger screen. Special edits will go online, but no parts from the original movie will go online. (Just so you know...)
What are you going to do with your year, winter, day, run or off that side hit? Hopefully not waste it wondering what could have been. Over here at Think Thank we say occupy your moments! The Weather Outside is Weather no matter what you do, so you might as well enjoy it. Speculation be damned! Analysis paralysis be gone! The Earth spins, the wind howls, the snow falls and about all one can do, aside from cowering in the flickering phone light, is to grab the crew and go ride. Whatever time, temp, odds, odd ball or obstacle is in front of us our crew is assembled and spiraling off into the inner space of mini shred and the open abyss of mega rad. From Alaska to Amsterdam, Snoqualmie to Sochi no patch will be left un-worked. We'll stretch our legs on copious garbage lids, with lay overs along the journey of suspended reality digging deep into the creative ids of Think Thank's progressive snowboard explorers. Along this journey won't know much, but we'll know we love snowboarding and that the Weather Outside is Weather and that that may be all we need to know.
Featuring: Ted Borland, Ryan Paul, Brandon Reis, Max Warbington, Jesse Burtner, Freddy Perry, Sammy Spiteri, Nial Romanek, Justin Keniston, Ben Bogart, Phil Hansen, Ryland West, Chris Beresford and friends.

Brain Dead Heart Attack Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack
INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
Super limited number in stock.
12" Gatefold collector's edition packaging comes with both Blu-Ray and DVD.
Think Thank's most mind numbing, heart stopping freestyle snowboard video ever!
Brain Dead Heart Attack marked a decade of snowboard videos for Think Thank, which was always one of the goals when it started. The concept was that the Brain Dead side would feature the dudes who have been around awhile at least in Think Thank videos, some of whom were quite literally brain dead. Heart Attack side would be the launch pad precursor for the new faces who would go on to film for Think Thank Almanac. We were moving out of the brain and into the heart; the heart of a new era of Think Thank, a crew of friends snowboarding together and filming each other, much like how it started 10 years ago.
Starring the minds, hearts and snowboarding of: Brandon Hammid, Jaeger Bailey, Ted Borland, Brandon Reis, Sammy Luebke, Nick Visconti, Curtis Woodman, Sean Genovese, Jesse Burtner, Chris Beresford, Sean Black, Nial Romanek, Desiree Melancon, Kyle Lopiccolo, Brendon Hupp, Sam Hulbert and Mitch Richmond. With guest appearances from Scott Stevens, Gus Engle, Ted Lavoie, Mark Landvik, Ben Bogart, Danyale Patterson, Freddy Perry and many more.

Mind The Video Man DVD
INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
The first thing people say about "Mind The Video Man" is that there's a whole bunch of new people in it. And that's exactly what we wanted to do; introduce some new talent (and a bunch of our veteran riders filmed for the DWD video). The video starts with some riders from early Think Thank videos; Burtner, McCarthy, Spinelli and Kurt Jenson literally passing the torch to the next generation (what the light bulb symbolizes). Yeah, we got deep. There are still riders from the OG Think Thank family too of course, whom we feel never tire of progressing freestyle snowboarding. But what Mind the Video Man is really about is examining what's happening with the snowboard video, where it's going next and how will that impact our culture. How do we create something of meaning that will stand the new media onslaught and the test of time? There are lots of hashtags, Insta-poaching (guy shooting with an iPhone right next to the photographer, shame on you instapoacher), analog YouTube web videos with none too subtle product placement pop-ups, buffering, buffering, buffering... This is more than a statement about digital vrs. physical. I's about the value we place on our heritage, our history and the story we want to leave behind for future generations.
Featuring: Jaeger Bailey, Curtis Woodman, Ryan Paul, Nial Romanek, Brandon Hammid, Kyle Lopiccolo, Brandon Reis, Ted Borland, Chris Beresford, Sean Black, Sam Hulbert, Jesse Burtner, Scott Stevens, Shane Wright, Ted lavoie and many more.

Ransack Rebellion DVD

This year we had our ups and downs. First off were going to loose Scott to another video project and we were sad. Okay, I was sad. But Jesse being the eternal optimist thought of it as an opportunity. Make lemonade out of lemons! And in that vein, it was kind of like making due with what we had, which led to one man's trash is another man's treasure, and we just ran with that literally. We were a revolution. We recruited a new gang of riders to the cause. We screen printed "pillage, create, destroy" bandanas by dim, flickering kitchen light and made our own flags to unite under! We burned shit. Ransack Rebellion was a movement, shaking things up, getting some new blood, fighting off the status quo. I'd like to also mention, that the year started out with Jesse and I renting a box truck and driving all over Seattle picking up garbage from alleys and parking lots, and dumps to bring up to Snoqualmie in the early season to shoot the intros for everyone's part. Every rider was invited and got to build their own obstacles out of the detritus to ransack. It was like Lord of Flies.
Featuring: Jesse Burtner, Matt Edgers, Pat Milbery, Nick Visconti, Tim Eddy, Jason Robinson, Chris Beresford, Austin Hironaka, Blair Habenicht, Chris Larson, Ben Bogart, Sam Hulbert, Ted Borland, Sean Black, Brendon Hupp, Mark Thompson, Austen Granger and friends.

Right Brain Left Brain : A 2-Disc Video
- DVD SOLD OUT!!
- AVAILABLE ON iTUNES HERE
The fact that we replicated more of these than any other title and they're sold out makes me feel like this was our most popular video. Luckily iTunes never sells out, so you can still watch it. Right Brain Left Brain was Genovese's idea. Him being the left brain to Jesse's right brain we sort of divided into 2 teams while filming this video. We went to Red Mountain and literally had Ross filming Geno, Jess Kimura and Tim Eddy on the Left Brain Team, and I filming Scott, Beresford and Jesse on Right Brain Team. Yosh had to jump back and forth between us everyday snapping photos, I'm surprised his brain didn't explode. If you don't remember from 6th grade science class, the right side of the brain: relies on intuition, visuals, is more spontaneous and is generally more loose. While the left side is: more analytical, logical, is generally more methodical and scientific and likes to make plans. This video is on 2 discs: All of the Left Brainers who dig nice big snow blocks in a grid to build a jump are on one disc, and the Right Brainers who look like they're individually digging for lost treasure making lots of little holes and tossing snow clumps every which way are on the other disc.

Cool Story DVD
INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
Cool Story was by far the most difficult video we ever made. It was linear. It had a story board. The first part started on October 22nd and the last part ended April 29th with a certain someone's high school graduation. Cool Story was a poking-fun-at ourselves video. Like in Zoolander; "Cool Story, Hansel". How many snowboard interviews, voice overs, self-aggrandizing "action documentaries" go into these in-depth stories about how hard it is being a snowboarder, and my parents were skiiers, and I just wanted to do my own thing after snowboard academy, and I bought a snowmobile but I haven't used it because I love split boarding, and it was too cloudy to heli so we just got wasted ... and all along you're thinking COOL STORY!
Featuring in chronological order: Ben Bogart, Tim Eddy, Austin Hironaka, Pat Milbery, Sean Genovese, Johnny Miller, Scott Stevens and friends, Gus Engle, Jesse Burtner, Chris Beresford, Matt Edgers, Andre Spinelli, Sam Hulbert, Blair Habenicht, , Nick Visconti, Mark Thompson and Chris Larson.

Stack Footy DVD
INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
Stack Footy. Everyone thought we Photoshopped the cover. Well, we didn't! That is a big piece of plywood with stacks of DV tapes printed out on paper and wheat pasted over it and Nick is actually jibbing it in real life. We weren't so sophisticated as to know how to Photoshop something like that at this point, or else we probably would have. Our style has often come out of adapting to our lack of knowing how to do something the "right way" or "easier way" or "better way". We just keep figuring it out as we go, so there's a lot of analog. But that's what Stack Footy starts to investigate, Physical vrs. Digital, so I'm glad for that segue. Stack Footy was an homage to the DV Tape which was being replaced by the now familiar P2 and SD Cards, and in the near future The Cloud. (no, not you Chris) Remember hand markers? The stomp and the hand? We still do it out of habit. Since Jesse filmed people like Gus since he was 9 at Boarderline Camp, and Edgers had lots of dad-cam footage and everyone else had clips or two from their youths we incorporated old footage of us as kids and tweens to add a bit more depth to the concept. The idea of stacking footy still rings true of course, but now it's technically more like stacking clips, or stacking cards, which graphically doesn't look as cool as the iconic stacks of DV tapes. Anyways, you'd have a "stack" of four P2 cards because they're so expensive and you just rewrite the same card over and over again. Simply stated; Stack Footy was a salute to the physical DV Tape, and all of the footy captured and contained over the years through those tapes.
Featuring: Scott Stevens, Chris Beresford, Johnny Miller, Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Gus Engle, Nick Visconti, Matt Edgers, Pat Milbery, Austin Hironaka, Brett Butcher, Jed Hoffman, Andre Spinelli, Ben Bogart, Bryce Lowell, Blair Habenicht, Mark Thompson, Chris Larson and many more.

Thanks Brain! DVD
INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
Thanks Brain! is most likely the first Think Thank video most people say they saw. I think it was from Patchwork Patterns doing the legwork though. Without Patchwork there couldn't have been a Thanks Brain! In fact, at this point we thought we were clever calling the video "Thanks Brain!" Giving attention to our slogan of thanking our brains for thinking up ideas and exploring new ways to slide on snow. It was always part of our logo and original concept for Think Thank, but had always gone unnoticed, in that tiny font in the negative space of the thought bubble part of our logo. So in a lot of ways it was sort of like our "self-titled" video, which I guess is usually artist's first album/video, what have you. Gotta treat every video like it's your first, you know!? Thanks Brain! we made a big paper mache' ear and a big paper mache' cone. Like really big. 12 feet tall, 8 feet at the base. We also made snow ledges. And we went to Japan for the first time, to both Hokkaido and Hakuba where we met our good friends Mackie and KenKen. We've been back every year since.
Featuring: Scott Stevens, Johnny Miller, Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Gus Engle, Nick Visconti, Matt Edgers, Pat Milbery, Lucas Debari, Brett Butcher, Jed Hoffman, Andre Spinelli, Ben Bogart, Bryce Lowell, Blair Habenicht, Mark Thompson, Dean Barbier and many more.

Patchwork Patterns DVD

I remember Travis Parker coming up to me at HCSC after he saw Patchwork Patterns, and he said it made him.... something. Want to snowboard... like snowboarding again... find new things to do on his snowboard... and coming from Travis Parker who was basically a pioneer of radness really meant something. Then he gave me a rollerblade keychain. Which I still have. In Patchwork Patterns we changed the way we snowboarded. It wasn't adding artsiness to the video, it was making snowboarding the art. I like to think of Patchwork Patterns as our Landmark video. We also went on our first International trip (to Austria) which was an adventure to say the least and kind of a right of passage. Scott Stevens and Johnny Miller were forces of magic unleashed onto the Earth and Jesse's vision of making a little different kind of snowboard video started taking shape. Also Patchwork Patterns year we were all super broke. Maybe from that International trip that we took and maybe from not ever making money making snowboard videos. And Jesse came up with the slogan "Recession Proof Snowboarding!" Snow might be bad, the economy might be in the crapper, but with friends, a shovel, a bit of snow and creative flights of fancy anything was possible. It was liberating.
Featuring: Scott Stevens, Johnny Miller, Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Gus Engle, Nick Visconti, Matt Edgers, Patrick McCarthy, Bina Basler, Brett Butcher, Jed Hoffman, Andre Spinelli, Ben Bogart, Roger Post, Mark Thompson, Luke Mathison, Matt Wild and many more.

CUE the Birds! DVD
INCLUDES PRIORITY SHIPPING to USA
Cue the Birds! was a commentary about adding "artsiness" like an ingredient added to a recipe. Something Portlandia made famous a decade later with their "Put a bird on it" parody. At this point we were using the bird theme as a way to have fun and be creative and wry. And have kind of a big communal arts and crafts project to "glue" the crew together. We'd spend hours making paper mache' bird masks. Luring birds in front of the camera with gluten, filming them, and then projecting them onto night spots. For the Seattle premiere, we cut out hundreds of paper birds and tied them to the end of fishing line hung from floating helium balloons (we made new balloons special for the event). We hired Todd again for an animation that was inspired during a medical experiment he signed up to do for "easy" cash that studied muscle atrophy and he had to stay in bed for like 30 days straight. He had a lot of time on his hands. Some people say Gus Engle's part in this video is their favorite ever. Maybe that was me that said that.
Featuring: Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Gus Engle, Matt Edgers, Patrick McCarthy, Mark Landvik, Jed Hoffman, Andre Spinelli, Ben Bogart, Roger Post, Mark Thompson, True Love, Brady Farr, John Laing, Kirk Stinebaugh, Luke Mathison and many more.
THUNK is Think Thank's first video. Where it all started. Thunk was the sound a thought made. After making a half dozen or so local AK videos under JB Deuce Productions, Jesse started Think Thank. Jesse's AK friends were moving to the Northwest and Tahoe and it just felt right including more hommies from the lower 48 (and Surrey of course!). The cover features Mark Landvik boosting a method into a sea of orange balloons up at Mt. Baker. We hiked Granny's with a helium tank. It weighed a ton. (Contrary to our belief that helium would somehow make the tank lighter.) When we got there, it was cloudy and worst of all windy. All of the balloons got tied up in one long balloon limb. So of all things we had to do it again another day. Once more we hiked Granny's with a helium tank and blew up another hundred balloons. Mark didn't seem too distracted by the jumble of floating orange thought bubble balloons and luckily mother nature cooperated. I actually ended up shooting this photo with the first digital camera I ever bought. Now my iPhone takes better photos.
Featuring: Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Patrick McCarthy, Mark Landvik, Jon Kooley, Jed Hoffman, Andre Spinelli, Ben Bogart, Jesse Huffman, Mark Thompson, Ami Voutilainen, Brady Farr, John Laing, Kirk Stinebaugh, Ashley Call and many more. Introducing animation by Toddy Lown.
