Thanks Brain! is most likely the first Think Thank video most people say they saw. I think it was from Patchwork Patterns doing the legwork though. Without Patchwork there couldn't have been a Thanks Brain! In fact, at this point we thought we were clever calling the video "Thanks Brain!" Giving attention to our slogan of thanking our brains for thinking up ideas and exploring new ways to slide on snow. It was always part of our logo and original concept for Think Thank, but had always gone unnoticed, in that tiny font in the negative space of the thought bubble part of our logo. So in a lot of ways it was sort of like our "self-titled" video, which I guess is usually artist's first album/video, what have you. Gotta treat every video like it's your first, you know!? Thanks Brain! we made a big paper mache' ear and a big paper mache' cone. Like really big. 12 feet tall, 8 feet at the base. We also made snow ledges. And we went to Japan for the first time, to both Hokkaido and Hakuba where we met our good friends Mackie and KenKen. We've been back every year since.
Featuring: Scott Stevens, Johnny Miller, Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Gus Engle, Nick Visconti, Matt Edgers, Pat Milbery, Lucas Debari, Brett Butcher, Jed Hoffman, Andre Spinelli, Ben Bogart, Bryce Lowell, Blair Habenicht, Mark Thompson, Dean Barbier and many more.
