This year we had our ups and downs. First off were going to loose Scott to another video project and we were sad. Okay, I was sad. But Jesse being the eternal optimist thought of it as an opportunity. Make lemonade out of lemons! And in that vein, it was kind of like making due with what we had, which led to one man's trash is another man's treasure, and we just ran with that literally. We were a revolution. We recruited a new gang of riders to the cause. We screen printed "pillage, create, destroy" bandanas by dim, flickering kitchen light and made our own flags to unite under! We burned shit. Ransack Rebellion was a movement, shaking things up, getting some new blood, fighting off the status quo. I'd like to also mention, that the year started out with Jesse and I renting a box truck and driving all over Seattle picking up garbage from alleys and parking lots, and dumps to bring up to Snoqualmie in the early season to shoot the intros for everyone's part. Every rider was invited and got to build their own obstacles out of the detritus to ransack. It was like Lord of Flies.
